I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord at the age of 8, at Berean Baptist Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
As a young man of 14, I was deeply involved in the lay ministries of my church, High Street Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. I felt the Spirit of God leading me to full time ministry and surrendered to whatever use God would make of my life. He has led me through Bible College and Seminary, to the pastorate and the foreign mission field.
